1.Introduction

Suzhou Bawangrong Network Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us" or "our") takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the "PDF Toolbox" iOS app (the "App") and its services, including PDF conversion, merging and splitting, compression, encryption and decryption, watermarking and document scanning.

Please read this policy carefully before using the App. By using or continuing to use the App, you agree that we may handle your information as described in this policy.

The App does not require you to sign up or log in, and does not collect identity information such as your name, phone number or email address, other than what you choose to enter when sending feedback. It contains no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

2.Information We Collect

2.1 Anonymous device identifier

When you first open the App, it generates a random anonymous identifier on your device and stores it in the system Keychain. We use it to create an anonymous account on our servers that links your processing history and conversion balance. This identifier contains no personal information and is not the advertising identifier (IDFA).

2.2 Files you upload

When you select files or images and tap "Start", the selected PDF, Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents or images are uploaded to our servers over an encrypted connection and are used only to complete the processing you requested. We do not view or analyze the content of your files, and we do not use them for any other purpose.

Settings you enter for a task (such as watermark text or page ranges) are submitted with the file to complete the processing. Passwords you enter to encrypt or decrypt a PDF are used only for that task and are never stored.

2.3 Camera and Photos

The App asks for camera or photo library access only when you use "Scan Document" or pick images from your library. Capturing and selecting happen on your device, and only the images you confirm for processing are uploaded. You can turn off these permissions at any time in iOS Settings; the rest of the App keeps working.

2.4 Purchase information

Conversions are sold through Apple In-App Purchase, and payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your Apple ID, card number or other payment account details. We only receive the transaction record signed by Apple, which includes the transaction ID, product ID, purchase date and price. We use it to verify your purchase and add conversions to your balance.

2.5 Feedback

When you submit feedback via "Me → Feedback", we collect the name, contact details (email, WeChat or phone number) and message you enter, along with your IP address at the time of submission. We use this only to reply to you, improve the App and prevent abusive submissions.

2.6 Service logs

When you use the App, our servers automatically record necessary access logs (such as IP address, request time, requested endpoint and device language). We use them to keep the service secure, troubleshoot problems and show messages in your language.

3.How We Use Information

• Providing the service: processing your files and generating previews and result files for you to download.
• History: showing your recent tasks on the History page so you can download them again.
• Conversion balance: tracking your free, purchased and used conversions.
• Replying to feedback: contacting you through the details you provide to answer your questions.
• Security and improvement: preventing abuse and malicious requests, troubleshooting and improving reliability.

We do not use your information for advertising or profiling.

4.Retention and Deletion

• Original files: deleted from our processing servers once processing is complete.
• Result files: kept in cloud storage; download links expire after 24 hours by default. Expired files are cleaned up regularly and are not kept long term.
• History: kept for up to 30 days. You can delete a single record or clear all records on the History page at any time.
• Purchase records and balance: purchase orders are kept long term to verify transactions, provide support and meet financial compliance requirements.
• Feedback: kept as long as needed to handle and reply to your feedback. You can contact us to have it deleted.
• Service logs: kept only as long as needed for troubleshooting, then deleted.

Our servers and data are located in the People's Republic of China.

5.Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide some features. They may only process data on our instructions and may not use it for any other purpose:

• Apple (In-App Purchase): processes payments for conversions. Apple's handling of this information is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
• Alibaba Cloud Computing Co., Ltd.: provides Object Storage Service (OSS) for temporarily storing results and previews. When you use "PDF to Word" or "PDF to Excel", the file is processed by Alibaba Cloud Document Mind for recognition and conversion.

6.Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent any of your information. Apart from the service providers listed in Section 5, we share or disclose your information only:

• with your explicit prior consent;
• when required by law, legal proceedings or competent government authorities;
• when necessary to protect the safety or property of you, us or the public.

7.Security

All data between the App and our servers is transmitted over HTTPS. Download links for result files are signed and time-limited, and cannot be accessed once they expire. We apply strict access controls to our servers and storage. However, no internet transmission is completely secure. If a security incident occurs, we will notify you and take remedial action as required by law.

8.Your Rights

• Delete history: swipe left on a record on the History page to delete it, or tap "Clear" to delete all records.
• Withdraw permissions: turn off camera or photo access at any time in iOS Settings.
• Delete account data: to delete all data linked to your anonymous identifier, contact us using the details below and include the user ID shown on the "Me" page. We will process your request within 15 business days.
• Stop using the App: you can uninstall the App at any time, and we will stop collecting further information.

9.Children

The App is intended mainly for adults. If you are under 14, please read this policy with a parent or guardian and use the App (including making in-app purchases) only with their consent.

10.Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App changes or as laws require. Updates will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. For significant changes, we will notify you prominently in the App.
